The idea for the Castello in Movimento was born in 2008 with the objective of turning the Malaspina Castle of Fosdinovo into a place of thought as well as production, a promoter of international projects and shared initiatives.

 

A new cultural center for young gifted artists in one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany. Since the beginning, the residency program has covered many different areas; the visual arts, literature, music and theatre. The artists that are invited are provided with a guest room in a private studio, and are given the opportunity to stay for as long as needed for the completion of their work.
